Vale Arthur Jones

Greenskeeper and Member of Robinvale Golf Club for many years, Arthur was an honest, hardworking staff member. He was always around to help out fellow staff whenever needed. He would water the course at night and would run around barefooted changing hoses, infact as well as that he wouldn’t pass OH & S standards now with his work attire of stubbie shorts complete with blue Bonds singlet, riding around on his 3 wheeler motorbike! He got great enjoyment out of waking the Epping boys at 3.00 am for a beer whilst out changing water.

Arthur was also a very loyal clubman, who loved a beer or two, even though his golf needed some improvement. R.I.P Arthur.

Arthurs funeral service is on Thursday 3 April at 1.00pm. It can be live streamed – www.heritagebradyfunerals.com.au and we will also be streaming it here at the club for members who would like to gather and watch together.
