CHEF DE PARTIE

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standards
  • Aiding the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and dish creation
  • Capable of maintaining food quality and consistency while working efficiently and quickly
  • Ensuring that food items are prepared, served, and stored according to the Kitchen’s standards
  • Estimating food and labour expenses, ordering food supplies, and menu planning
  • Ensuring that kitchen and food safety regulations are followed
  • Complying with regular cleaning and waste disposal practices
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and health and hygiene requirements at all times
  • Maintaining clear communication channels between the bar and kitchen staff, and within the kitchen
  • Building and nurturing effective working relationships with other staff

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient knowledge and ability to manage a section
  • Capable to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to create high-quality food across all sections
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate team management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Enthusiasm for personal growth and development, as well as that of team members
  • Adaptability to changes and openness to new ideas and processes

HOUSEKEEPER

  • Cleaning and sanitising rooms
  • Makes beds and changes linens
  • Vacuums and sweeps floors, carpets, and rugs
  • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and countertops
  • Dusting furniture and lamps
  • Replenishing toiletries and towels
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Skills and Experience

  • Attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of cleaning agents and their applications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks
  • Knowledge and awareness of the relevant health and safety standards
